"Colour, shape, rhythm, juxtaposition, movement and repetition" - yeah I'm hooked! There is a certain playful, "not-too-precious" air about Jennifer Morrison's abstract art works. Something familiar and engaging, yet nothing that can be comprehended or explained - just a moment of pure fluid visual contemplation - with our without meaning. Life itself is a risk they say and Jennifer says that she "likes the way abstraction allows for ambiguity". To live in such beautiful harmony with ambiguity... if only we all could. Imagine that.

Marni Resort 2016 - Runway Flashback - Those embellished clutches
Lately I went through my swipe file and re-discovered those exquisitely embellished clutches from Marni's Resort 2016 collection. Those almost "bug-like" two-petal flowers especially grabbed my attention and my own little beaded version (see at the bottom of this post) was born. Though, by adding sequins in my version - it probably turns out to be more like Marni meets Shourouk. Just a start, still figuring out where and how to incorporate this little component...
